Why Wolf Paw Stable ?

It just happened. I red a little advertisement in a paper " Sydsvenskan " :
" Start train … call now ". I just take a chance.
I would find a way how to understand my horse.

What about the trainer ?

A real horsewoman I never seen or coming to meet. Very experienced, have patience, she is never nervous. She take time. She explain things well, she notice everything, both good and bad things about horse and rider. She have a wonderful ability to understand and communicate with horses. She makes you and your horse to work. She is fair. She is great. And she come the time we agree.

How about your horse now ? ( Icelandic horse )

I can respect and understand my horse better. I can see now, that my horse only want to do the right things, and how easy he learn if I only give him a chance. Horses be happier and they get more confident because I can respect them and we can do the right things together. They ( horses ) have more attention about what I ask them to do. They are calm. They have stopped a part of bad habits : throw the head up and down.

Riding student in westernriding since September 1995.
We, my wife and me find an advertisement and come in contact with Wolf Paw Stable .

Because we are interested of horses and riding, we take a chance to test westernriding.
( Differently and more vacant style ).

We have only good experiences about education.

We get more interested about horses and now we want to realize our dream,
to own a western horse, an Appaloosa.

So it been naturally to consult Wolf Paw Stable when we are coming to buy a horse,
training the horse and when we need education and help with breeding.

Why Wolf Paw Stable ?

I will learn how to take care of my horse with Natural Horsemanship method.
Maria is one of those few in south Sweden who works with this method since many years.

What about the trainer ?

Maria is very exact. She started the lesson with looking at, how I communicate with my horse. She check the bridle and saddle, and my horse daily food. She notice everything. She is as rapid with praise as to correct you. She explains always : why to do so ….. and she looks never at her clock !

How about your horse now ? ( Trotter )

I could write a book about it !
But I take some example :

Brushing before : The horse tramped round nervous, sometimes on my toes.

Brushing now : He stand still and calm. He stands still in his stable and I don’t need to tie him.

Mounting before : When I start to mounting up to saddle and I had my foot in a stirrup he starts to go or moves around. I was forced to throw me up to the saddle

Mounting now : He stands still and he is waiting for when I ask him to go forward.

Generally, my horse has been more calm, more soft to ride and he is more in harmony !
