Computer gaming
First game out:
Unreal
Well, when the world was young and the only 3D game that existed was Wolfenstein, I loved it. Then all of a sudden came Doom, and I loved it. I also loved Quake, and played it extremely much. Now guess what? I love Unreal! And You know what? It has a storyline :)
You are a prisoner being transported on a huge prisonship. But since there would be no game if something didn't happen, the ship gets caught in the gravitational field of a planet it's passing, and of course, it crashes. Well, the thing You might be expecting now is ".. and it's up to You to save the world", but that's wrong.
Since You're the only one alive, there is noone to save.
A very thin storyline indeed, but at least it is. The graphics are *AMAZING*, even on a non-3dfx card (i.e. standard directx). However, the maximum resolution on a P2-300 with 128 megs ram is 512*384*32bit with a Diamond Fire 1000 GL Pro. Above that, it's more like a slide show in school. Anyway, to sum it up, I really like this game.

Second game:
EA Sports NHL 99
Well, yet another NHL xx game from EA, and yet another smash hit in my mind. This game is the number one thing that occupies my time nowadays (except from working), simply because it is an extraordinary game. It contains full rosters of all NHL teams, plus teams for a lot of countries, which means that You can play an international tournament as (for example) Sweden. It also ships in 5 languages, one of them being Swedish. So finally, You can hear Arne Hegerfors hitting the comment booth again. Unfortuneatly, the in-game commentary are all English, it's only the pre-game stuff thats in a native language. When a goal is scored, or here is just a break in the game, statistics about the players are shown. It feels good to see that my rookie (Björn Gustafsson, for some strange reason), is ranked #1 in scored goals. :)
