If large format is ideal in landscape photography and 35 mm too small, than the medium, or "Hasselblad", format is a good compromise. Especially in color, the cost can be too high in 4x5 or 8x10 inch but is still reasonable in 6x6 cm. Even Ansel Adams used the Hasselblad camera during his later years.

This should be a nice little beach in the summertime. The sun is working on it.

This tree is only half a meter high. The severe winds from the baltic and the long swedish winters have held it back. Hasselblad 2.8/80 mm. Update: This tree is now dead since a couple of years. If the reason was a dry summer or a cold winter is hard to say.

In a secret place in the outskirts of Stockholm, I found this miniature landscape of nerves and roots. Hasselblad, Imagon 120 mm.
