Introduction Due to the ever increasing volume of documents for a turbine plant, we have decided to go from paper to electronic format. The goal is to provide a complete, well structured documentation on CD-ROM, with a consistent, easy-to-use interface. However, the majority of our customers still demand documentation in paper format as well, which means that the document structure and filing principles must work in both paper and electronic versions. We use the Adobe Acrobat pdf-format as the common denominator for all documents. The customer can then view, navigate and print the documentation, using the free application "Acrobat Reader". Sub-supplier Documentation Also the documentation from our sub-suppliers must be arranged in a pre-defined structure, in order to maintain a consistent interface for all documentation. The key to the sub-supplier documentation is the SSDS, the Sub-Supplier Documentation Specification.
