How to prepare the Documentation Package A few important points... Detailed instructions are provided in a separate document. Click here to download the instruction how_to.zip. File format and file names All documents shall be delivered as pdf-files. The file name shall be a Serial No., followed by the pdf suffix. The Serial No. defines the position of the document in the package. For example, the Operating Instruction always has the Serial No. 0501 and is the first document under tab 5. List of documents The relationship between the Serial No. and the document identity shall be defined in document 0101, the List of Documents. Language The documentation language depends on the end user of the turbine plant, and must therefore be specified by ALSTOM Power for each purchase. For example, for a turbine plant within the EU community, all documentation must be in English. In addition, (according to the EU Machinery Directive) the operating and maintenance instructions, as well as safety information, must be translated to end user language. The required translations for each document shall be appended to the English text in the same pdf file.
